This is the census info I have found on James and Elizabeth Symonds, Queen's Road, Jarrow. The 1911 census is great as it's in your ancestors own handwriting and it's also a fertility census... tells you how many children they've had, how many have died and also tells you how many years they have been married.

92 Queens Rd 1911 census
James Symonds Head abt 1870 41 Male Married Labourer General Gt Yarmouth, Norfolk
Elizabeth Symonds Wife abt 1872 39 Female Married add Carlesle, Cumberland
Sarah Symonds Daughter abt 1897 14 Female Single add Jarrow, Durham, England 92 Queens Rd Jarrow
Joseph Symonds Son abt 1900 11 Male Single School Jarrow, Durham, England 92 Queens Rd Jarrow
William Symonds Son abt 1905 6 Male Single School Jarrow, Durham, England 92 Queens Rd Jarrow
Margaret Symonds Daughter abt 1903 8 Female School Jarrow, Durham, England 92 Queens Rd Jarrow
Edward Symonds Son abt 1908 3 Male add Jarrow, Durham, England 92 Queens Rd Jarrow
Mary Symonds Daughter abt 1909 2 Female

92 Queen's Road 1901 census -
James M Symonds Head 31 abt 1870 Male General Labourer Shipworker Tadmouth Norfolk England
Eliza Symonds Wife 29 abt 1872 Female Carlisle Cumberland England
James M Symonds Son 9 abt 1892 Male Jarrow Durham England
John Symonds Son 7 abt 1894 Male Jarrow Durham England
Sarah J Symonds Daughter 4 abt 1897 Female Jarrow Durham England
Catherine Symonds Daughter 2 abt 1899 Female Jarrow Durham England
Joseph Symonds Son 1 abt 1900 Male Jarrow

After 1912 the way in which births were recorded in the bmd (birth, marriages, deaths) index changed to include the mother's maiden name. There are two further birth records registered in South Shields (which covers Jarrow) with the surname Symonds, MMN (mother's maiden name) Owens.

Jun 1912 Symonds May E Owens S.Shields 10a
Mar 1914 SYMONDS Winifred F Owens S.Shields 10a

On the back of "Old Ordnance Survey Maps---East Jarrow 1913" from the Godfrey Edition list the residence of Queens Road.

There is a J Symonds , a labourer at 92Queens Road.

My grandfather Robert Edwards was living at 74 with his wife Mary Ann (nee Nicholson)
