I used to do dealership car exchange for Dougie all over the UK. He also had a contract to deliver school meals forget what schools now, and sorry to say i have no photos.

That photo brought back a few memories.  I can also remember your gran who lived in the Bungalows on Primrose Terrace.  Lovely lady.  Welcome to the site.

Yes Mick was one of the mechanics, he now runs his own business in Hebburn, I was talking to him last week. I

This probably sounds like a stupid question, but where was York Avenue garage?  What are the streets that can be seen in your photo?  There was no garage (I don't think?) when I lived there.

Pat...The road In the foreground Is bottom of Roman Road leading on to York Ave,The street behind Is Tynemouth Road...Hope this help's... Smile
