I remember Jarrow from the 1950's, The last time I was there was for my Aunt Martha McNulty's Funeral 1996, I have seen the way Jarrow has expanded by using Google Earth.
I am glad I came onto this site as I have made contact with Mary, who was in Biscop Terrace when I was there.
while going through my late dads papers i,ve came across details of a Patrick McNulty 1843-1916 m Jane Froy, also my grandad Tommy Scullion 1877-1947 m Sarah McNulty 1884-1962 parents of Paddy Scullion 1899-1987 m Ada Waggot 1899-1972

Hi Dammie.
Can I contact you in about 4 weeks time, as I have the builders working on my property, and everything is upside down, as they are extending the extension, and every bedroom is having the inner wall and ceilings taken down so that they can bring the insulation up to standard.

Hi Dammie.
Sorry for the delay in replying to your question.
Yes Martha McNulty was Martha Thompkins, her Grandson who lives in New Jersey, has put all the Thompkins and McNulty families on Ancestry, although some of the McNulty infor is wrong.
I have been researching Over 50 Servicemen's family history who died in the Great War, I also have built an Memorail to go on display, it has the First Service men killed in the first month of the Great War. If you want any info on the McNulty's etc
, send me an email. So we are distant cousins.
