Today pm,Jarrow Slake.Curlew 3,Redshank 10,Oystercatcher 3,Grey Heron 4,Black-Headed Gull 80x,Herring Gull 5,Lapwing 8,up the river tyne West,Sparrowhawk North 4-31,over my house.

9am-10am in the garden today,Greenfinch 1 Male, Goldfinch 3, Swallow 5,over west,Collared Dove 4,Woodpigeon 2,Robin 1,Coal Tit 2,Blackbird 2,House Martin 8,South West.

A Walk round Jarra Slake and the river don valley with Jarraman and his dear wife produced,Common Sandpiper 2,Whitethroat 1,Chiffchaff 1,and a treecreeper in the grounds of the old church.

Saw this poor Blackbird at the weekend in Keswick. Completely bald. Anyone know what is wrong with it?

do you think there might be some chemicals about somewhere what with the rabbits now the birds, it can not all be put down to mother nature surerly.
